Unmarked save for the neat ownership signature of Otto Windt who was a top executive with the candy company E.J. Brach. Fourth printing of the first edition of the first study of sociology. All printings of the first edition are uncommon. This is a landmark textbook in the field and was the basis for Chicago Sociology - the discipline which had a huge influence of the fieldthroughout the 20th century. The authors argue sociology is not concerned with explanatory schemes but rather with how people interact in groups.
