Dustwrapper soiled and worn; some tears w/ materal loss, especially along lower margins and crown of spine. Front inner panel price-clipped, with store sticker. Overall Very Good. Signed and dated by Harvé Stein, who illustrated many books for juvenile audiences. Kubie weaves a tale of how a young boy, with no prior interest in sailing, makes a wager that turns into a sailing race. Two-tone text-illustrations throughout.
