First Edition
Condition: Fine. First Edition. 82 pp; 12mo; green cloth stamped in gilt; pasted in color frontis illus and four tipped in color illusA book of poems. The color illustrations are 3.5" x 2" rather charming renditions of nymphal dancers. According to a preface: "The author of this book, who is now dead, was a real woman, although Winifred Maynard was not her real name. These poems of hers, covering a period of thirteen years in her life were written for herself, and shown to very few people. With one exception, they have been arranged in the exact order of their composition. Very scarce, and mysterious.
