Book
Paperback. Condition: Very Good. Breaking a decades-long silence, Clarence "Big Man" Clemons, superlative saxophonist and right-hand man to Bruce Springsteen, reveals all about life both and off the road with one of the world's most famous rock stars. For 35 years, Clemons has performed with the E Street Band, and has not only observed but been a huge presence in Springsteen's career. In BIG MAN, Clarence tells astounding true stories and spins a few legendary yarns to add to the already mystical lore of the E Street Band. From breaking into Graceland to meet the King, to sharing a drink or three with Robert De Niro, Clarence and his closest friend Don Reo have woven a patchwork quilt of truth and fiction that is truly groundbreaking. A must-have for anyone even remotely interested in The Boss, BIG MAN contains stories that even the most dedicated fan will never have heard before. The book has been read, but is in excellent condition. Pages are intact and not marred by notes or highlighting. The spine remains undamaged.

Seller: Between the Covers-Rare Books, Inc. ABAA, Gloucester City, NJ, U.S.A.
Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. A collection of 76 loose photos measuring between 2.5" x 3" to 5" x 7". All photographs are near fine or better with some spotting on a few of the images. An archive of photographs from at least two concerts in the New Jersey/New York area around 1990 some with the stamp of photographer, Corey A. Moran. One set is from the 1990 Bon Jovi Christmas Benefit held at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, New Jersey. According to the Theatre's history, "starting in the early 1990's, the theatre played host to a set of charity shows by the band Bon Jovi, including two shows on December 23, 1990 to benefit the Monmouth County Arts Council, Holmdel's Sisters of the Good Shepherd, and a family suffering from Lymes disease." The second event is unknown but appears to be a large outdoor rock concert in New Jersey. Among the photos of all the events, including the benefit, are pictures of Jon Bon Jovi, Southside Johnny, Bruce Springsteen, Clarence Clemons, Little Stevie, Talking Head's guitarist Jerry Harrison, David Johansen as Buster Poindexter, Clive Davis, and someone who we suspect is Frank Stallone. An interesting archive of candid photographs from some of the biggest names in the New Jersey Rock scene.
