My Fair Lady, the musical play based on "Pygmalion", adapted and with lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner. Illustrated with the costume designs by Cecil Beaton from the Broadway musical starring Rex Harrison, Julie Andrews and Stanley Holloway. My Fair Lady includes a signature of Stanley Holloway and an unclipped dust jacket. Original cream cloth boards with red lettering on the cover and spine. Some light staining to the covers. Slight lean to the book. Previous owners dedication on the front free page. The contents are clean with some spotting on a few pages. The dust jacket is soiled with some chipping and small loss to the spine ends. Small holes on the spine, one affecting the publishers title and 1cm tear on the top edge of the spine.

Noted photographer, writer, and interior designer Cecil Beaton served as art director for the film, and received the Academy Award for Best Production Design for his work, alongside Gene Allen and George James Hopkins. 8 x 10 inches.
