About the Author:
Alison Stieven-Taylor started out as a music publicist for local Australian bands including the Angels, INXS, Mental As Anything, the Divinyls, and Cold Chisel. In 1983, she moved to Los Angeles and worked as a publicist on Men at Work’s North American and Canadian tour. She is a freelance journalist for over twenty years, having written for Rolling Stone through to Cleo. Today she is the director of a successful PR consultancy working with leading global brands. She is an accomplished researcher.
