Review:
'Flirting' looks clear-eyed at an imperfect and transient world and still finds space to sing, flirt and dream. -- Francesca T. Royster, 'Becoming Cleopatra', 2006
The first Carolyn Aquila poem I read was 'Mrs. Peel', and I thought, 'I have to meet this woman.' -- Jack McCarthy, 'Say Goodnight, Grace Notes', 2006
These words are rendered with precision and craft ... not to mention this is a beautiful book. -- Marc Smith, 'Idiots Guide to Slam Poetry', 2006
