About the Author:
Robert Burleigh has written many award-winning books for children, including fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. His most recent book for Abrams was Earth From Above for Young Readers, with photographs by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, which won a Platinum Award from the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio. He lives in Chicago. Philip Plisson is a highly acclaimed marine photographer who in 1999 was admitted into the exclusive group Peintres de la Marine (Official Painters of the French Navy). His work comprises more than 220,000 images and 26 books published in the past 10 years.
