From Publishers Weekly:
In a preachy, simplistic tract, Murchison, a Dallas Morning Star columnist, urges Americans to reawaken spiritually to reverse the moral decay evidenced in increased violence and crime, erosion of family values, a failed school system and disregard of "common obligation." We no longer recognize our "origins as creatures of God subject to the Creator's commands." He argues that individualism has replaced authority, leading to such social "ills" as sexual liberation and pornography, self-gratification, homosexuality and abortion. Murchison calls on church, family and education to play a major role in fusing our secular culture with morality based on obedience to God.

From Library Journal:
Journalist Murchison joins a host of other voices (William Bennett, The Devaluing of America, LJ 4/1/92) decrying the decline of values in contemporary America. The author ascribes society's rising crime rates, its sexual license, and the breakup of the family to a reigning moral relativism. Murchison suggests, however, that by restoring moral absolutes to a central place in culture, social problems can be overcome and a sense of civility regained. While Murchison's claims may attract many, his book is marred by sloppy writing, repetition, and generalizations; it lacks substance. Not recommended.
