The transition is not an easy one, but with Sheila's help, Sherman does go to school, where he discovers that he has been thinking all along. Reminiscent of Leo the Late Bloomer (Crowell, 1971) by Robert Kraus, this book has a clear messageeveryone moves at an individual pacebut the message does not overwhelm the characters or the mood of the story.
