PreSchool-Grade 1–This innocuous story of a summer vacation in the country is set in the 1930s. Eddie Koch's younger sister, Patty, five, tries to be like her brother, but makes a big mistake when she wades out too far in the lake and finds herself over her head. Eddie rescues her, all is well, and the next day Dad teaches her how to swim.
